GUS is a family-friendly comedy feature.

"Ventriloquism just got real."

A down-on-his-luck ventriloquist serendipitously acquires a dummy that is alive, it would seem all his dreams are about to come true, however his jealous rival, a big-time ventriloquist has other ideas...

"Gus" ventures into the real, quirky and wonderful world of ventriloquism with a touch of magic by veteran screenwriter Angus Benfield.

This film is for anyone who has ever had a dream, are in the process of pursuing that dream or have seen that dream go unfulfilled, with the aim of the film being to help inspire them again.

​​

The film deals lightly with themes of divorce, separation and families that are falling apart. It also deals with that common pursuit in life that we feel, to make something of ourselves and explores the barrage and defeat that this pursuit can bring with it.

It also raises the question of what is most important in life, success or the love of a family and can we have both or do we have to choose?

GUS is designed to inspire and give the viewer hope, to encourage them to not give up and to keep going.
